Identifying Antique Paperweights - The Less Familiar
by George N. Kulles
edited by Jean Kusy-Kulles

This is the third of three books written by George Kulles on the subject of identifying antique paperweights.  The paperweight collecting community has long awaited this addition to his earlier books.  While the first two books focused on the five major French and American paperweight factories, this book expands our knowledge to include many other less well known factories.

Paperweight collecting has matured a lot since the first two books were printed in 1985 and 1987.  Collectors now actively seek out weights from all of the other factories described in this book.

This book is full of information and hints and is a must have book for the collector of antique paperweights.   The section for each factory includes information about (specific) density, fluorescence, profile, common designs, colors used, millefiori or flowers, other special details, and closing comments about the factory.  As before, George Kulles provides great closeup pictures and line drawings to aid us in the identification of these paperweights.

78 pages with 185 full color photographs and many line drawings.
